Affiliations and Memberships
We don't do this work alone. Annie's Havens belongs to a network of provincial partners and oversight that keeps our care accountable, current, and aligned with the best of Ontario's child welfare sector.
Ontario Care Collective
Annie's Havens is a proud member of the Ontario Care Collective (OCC), a province-wide association dedicated to strengthening the quality, consistency, and impact of care across Ontario.
The Collective brings together operators, caregivers, and sector partners to advocate for vulnerable children and youth and to champion excellence in care. Through this membership we share practices with other trusted providers, stay current with provincial standards, and add our voice to the work of building a more cohesive and equitable care system across the province.
Provincial Licensing and Oversight
Annie's Havens operates as a licensed foster care provider in Ontario, under the oversight of the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services. Our work is governed by the Child, Youth and Family Services Act, 2017 (CYFSA) and its regulations, which set the standards for how children and young people in care must be supported, kept safe, and treated with dignity.
That oversight is something we welcome. It is part of how we make sure every child placed with us receives care that meets, and aims to exceed, the standards Ontario expects. You can read more about how we put those standards into practice in our Program Description.
